Windows 10

Microsoft released Windows 10 to the Australian public on July 28, 2015. It is a free software update for most users of Windows 7 or 8.x - at least for a while.

Here is our very brief summary of Windows 10:

It looks to be a very good product, however users WILL have to learn a new interface and support features are changed from previous, so IT costs need to be budgeted for, for an upgrade, or the owner will need to allow quite number of hours of self learning!

Check that your peripherals are supported by Windows 10, such as printers and scanners, otherwise you might be in for a shock, when you gear stops working.

We aware that the Microsoft Licence Agreement, which you have to agree to before you can you the product, give Microsoft AND their 3rd Parties unrestricted access to all your personal contents, including all documents, spreadsheets, emails and photos. This is VERY SERIOUS! So think carefully. Use Google to research this further...
